Smell Like a Monster

Incase you haven't noticed there some constants in my life that make me smile.

My boys.

Lovely music.

And Sesame Street.

It's true. Sesame Street will always make my heart smile. Grover and Elmo especially. That said I chuckled at the following...

Have you ever seen those old spice commercials? The one with the guy talking and comparing himself to "your man"? The hubbs loves those so I have seen more then I care to admit. That said watch the following...

Ah Grover... you never fail to make me smile!

If you'd like to see the actual old spice commercial that this is a spoof from click here.

Our Life & a Family Pic

I feel as though I've been away for a life time now!

I am trying to enjoy my vacation to the fullest which means a lot of smiles and giggles with my boys, alot of frustrations with my boys, warm weather and great catch up time with our families.

Hubby left 2 weeks ago to head home and do some much needed renovations while the boys weren't around. It's so much easier to do a quality job painting when you don't have two little people itching to help! That said, the boys and I are missing him like crazy and the count down is on for when we get to join him back in our home.

The boys and I have been running, what feels like, everyday since hubby left. Last week Zac participated in a Vacation Bible School every morning, we went to the beach on Saturday had a great visit with family on Sunday, went for a play date this morning and we're scheduled for another play date tomorrow. While it's been great, the boys are not used to the constant motion and it's starting to ware on them. They tend to be a bit grumpy these days and are pushing limits and rules that were very estabished before we left. I'm trying to make the best of it though and looking forward to taking them home and seeing them take a sigh of relief and comfort to finally be back in their house.

On a bit of an unrelated note though, this pic was taken at my brother in law's wedding and I looooove it. The boys wore their suits and ties no problem and it made for the cutest pics!

Busy Busy Busy

Our time at home has been such a rush of activity all the days are officially starting to blur together!!

I have no pics (downloaded) to share just yet and it feels like I have no time to really type either.
The wedding is over and the happy couple is officially honey-mooning leaving us all to take a deep breath of relaxation and try to figure out what day we are on...

Zac had such a blast at the reception! We let him dance himself silly. So funny to see a 3 year old steal the show in the middle of a circle of adults chanting his name. We had to keep taking him outside in an effort to cool him off and rehydrate him. Crazy little man was the life of the party!
Until 10:30pm. Then I pulled the mom card and decided it was time for him to go to bed. But he was still going strong and did not stop quite as willingly as his little brother.

I will have all kinds of updates soon on all the crazy fun things we've been doing, but the rest of this week is still packed with scheduled activities so you may need to wait a touch longer.
The hubs heads home this weekend and the boys and I will be transferring our stuff to my parents house for a few more weeks (I'll explain later), where things will start to calm down allowing me a bit more time to share.

It is late.late.late for me at the moment though so I must run to bed in a effort to gain some energy and give the coffee a bit of a rest.
xo for now.

PS - I had forgotten how much I missed Starbucks... I'm considering pitching a tent in the store...

Musical Monday: Plain White T's - Rhythm of Love

I came across this song a few weeks ago and loved it.
And since I'm in the love-y spirit these days, thought it would be a nice one to share.
